WASHecon 2025
The WASH Economics Conference aims to bring together academics doing research on water supply, sanitation, and hygiene/health services (WASH). The 2025 edition of the conference will take place on March 14 and 15, 2025, in-person at Oberlin College.
The event is co-organised by Oberlin College, the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, and the Institute for Fiscal Studies.
Keynote speaker: Belinda Archibong, Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
Abstract Submissions
We are inviting extended abstract submissions. Paper topics may relate to any area of WASH economics, loosely defined as how actors (e.g., individuals, providers, governments) make decisions about the allocation and means of providing scarce resources in the delivery and use of WASH and other health services.
Extended abstracts (300-400 words) should be submitted via this form by November 25, 2024. Abstracts should be work in progress rather than published journal articles, but may be working papers or pre-prints.
